Millbrand is an independent company involved in music publishing and media licensing. We are members of MCPS, PRS, MPA and affiliated societies overseas. In territories outside the UK and North America we are represented by CP Masters BV, owners of Imagem Music Group who have offices worldwide. |

Our catalogues include Millbrand, Three Saints and Hunter Bond. We also represent the copyrights of many important American publishers and writers in UK and EU territories, giving us control of thousands of classic songs - including many hits from the golden age of soul and black music. |

Our songs have been recorded by hundreds of soul stars and some have been covered by pop stars such as Paul Weller, Elvis Costello, Bryan Ferry, etc. |

Many of our songs have been sampled by famous hip-hop and rap artists and dozens of our songs and masters are featured on TV and in movies. Recent film projects include Clubbed, Crying With Laughter, SoulBoy and Unconditional (due for cinema release early 2012). We also have songs featured in Dean Chalkley's short film Young Souls and the forthcoming music documentary Keep On Burning. |

Hundreds of our songs are featured in compilation albums. For example, twenty classics are featured on Northern Soul's 200 Greatest Floorfillers and nine can be heard on the TV-advertised album 101 Northern Soul Anthems (Virgin/EMI). |

Our sister company SELREC operates the Selecta and Shotgun record labels and holds rights to various American catalogues including Quinvy, Harthon, Creative Funk and La Beat. Selrec also provides custom mastering and manufacturing services to other record companies. |

We have licensed masters to companies such as Universal, Demon, Ace, Passion, Expansion, BBE, Soul Brother, Sanctuary, Outta Sight, Go Ahead, Z Records, Beatin' Rhythm, Grapevine, Formosa, Ipso Facto and Odeon Entertainment. |

Millbrand MD Paul Mooney previously owned Ardent Music and the Ardent, Zing and Forever record labels where he worked with Sam Dees, GC Cameron, Ronnie Dyson and others. In 1993 he negotiated record and publishing deals with Polydor Records and PolyGram Music for the double-platinum selling pop group Lighthouse Family. For seven years he worked as production manager and A&R consultant for Grapevine Music Group. |
